Texas Pen Pal Network

MISSION OF TEXAS PEN PAL NETWORK:

1. To provide a Christian based Pen Pal network for other Christians in prison

2. To provide fellowship & friendship between Christian Pen Pals

3. To serve as a liason between Chrisitans and those in prison who are not comfortable writing directly to Christians in prison

4. To provide our services FREE of charge to both Christians in prison and their Christian pen pals.

GOALS OF TEXAS PEN PAL NETWORK:

1. We are a Chrisitian organization created to give support & friendship to other Chrisitians in prison.

2. We are here to help others not profit off of them.  It does cost money to run this site and our mailings but we do welcome donations.

3. We are not here to be a romance/love network.  Every pen pal that is posted on this site is ONLY interested in developing a friendship with other Chrisitians for their spiritual well being and growth.

4. We are all Children of God --- We will never use the words PRISONER or INMATE, these are words that are meant to belittle each person.  No matter what a person has done if they have asked God for forgiveness and accept Christ as their savior --- They are Chrisitan and one of God's Children.

5. We are still small and growing, please bear with us and have patience as we move through our growing pains.

WHAT WE DO NOT SUPPORT:

1.  We are NOT A ROMANCE/LOVE CONNENCTION group.  That is not the purpose of this site.  Please do not contact us if you are looking for love.  If your pen pal, develops a love interest in you, please contact us immediately.

2. We are NOT here for individuals in prison to soliciate monetary contributions to their prison account.

3. We are NOT here for individuals in prison to request donations for their defense, appeal or legal aid funds.

VISION OF TEXAS PEN PAL NETWORK:

1. To develop a large network of Christian Pen Pals throughout the State of Texas

2. To develop a larger website that is supported by a web-based database

3. To develop an online store to help support the site by offering notecards, greeting cards, art prints, and poetry books all created by Christians in prison.

4. To develop a network of prison ministries throughout the State of Texas who can contribute to our network.

This site was created to connect Christian people with other Christians in prison.  THIS IS A COMPLETELY FREE SITE!!! We do not do this to make a profit and run soley on donations.

This site is purely for helping others in need of a Christian friend while serving their time in prison.
